Art for Relief II

Alexis graduated in 2003 with a degree in Drawing from Camberwell College of Art before studying at post graduate level on The Drawing Year at The Prince's Drawing School (now the Royal Drawing School) and at the University of London. She has exhibited regularly since graduation and has received various prizes and bursary awards, particularly for draughtsmanship. Alexis is a qualified teacher/lecturer and has worked in a wide range of educational settings, most recently as course leader at Oxford Brookes University and 2D Fine Art lead on Year 0 at the University of East London. She has curated three large-scale art events bringing together dozens of artists in unusual settings. Alexis has two young children and continues to practice as an artist. She lives and works in London.
