RABOTA: Auction 2 – 15 Works by 15 Russian Contemporary Artists

The “Photo Album” series portrays various moments and situations that people often capture in the form of a snapshot.

“The sculptures are slightly reminiscent of the aesthetics of Soviet figurines and depict different moments recorded in memory or simply noticed in everyday life. I like that sometimes sculptures work like a portal and can evoke unique memories and associations in the viewer." 

Nadezhda's studio is in Moscow's so-called Artists' Town on Verkhnyaya Maslovka.
