A portrait of Cosimo II de Medici, the 17th century Grand Duke of Tuscany, 'photobombed' by the hip-hop star Drake and adorned in jewellery worn by the South East London rapper Giggs.

With a PhD in Contemporary British Painting co-supervised by the Royal Collage of Art, Helen Gørrill uses collage and mixed media to transform old masters portraits  with contemporary imagery.

Incorporating elements from contemporary sub-cultures and trends of modern society allows the artist to successfully revive historical portraits.

Helen Gørrill is also including A Day at the Pompidou in the auction.
