About
Sue Munson (she), The creative inception of the 'We are Clouds' and the 'Clouds We Didn't See ' series of paintings occurred in 2020 at the beginning of lockdown. Similar to many artists during that time, this estrangement from normal life led to a period of reflection and a creative journey into a new body of work. In an uncertain present and with no clear sense if the future I took the opportunity to look back and rediscover past methods of working , melding these with new discoveries to produce the large ethereal cloud paintings I have become known for. My inspiration comes from the paintings of the late Renaissance, and old frescoes. For more information please contact www.suemunson.com
Education
Sue Studied contemporary textiles and design at Guildford college, and has continuously topped up her knowledge by studying Chelsea College of Art, The St. Ives School of Painting , and The Royal Academy of Art. Sue is a keen believer in the creative benefits of continual learning across different media. For more information www. Suemunson.com

Statement
The postcard painting is representative of a small fragment that might be found in a larger painting. The letters represent my interpretation of latin inscriptions found on old paintings and frescoes.
