Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork

The title is taken from Rubens' 'The Feast of Venus’; this painting celebrates the power of love. There are three works that were submitted for Art on a Postcard for International Women's Day 2024, each card has a layer that has been stripped back. The cards are an abstract representation of the artist, as the layers are removed she is celebrating the beauty and purity of love given by women in her life, gradually each card reveals how women allow her to be her truest self.

You must not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any works. In doing so, you endanger our relationships with artists, and directly jeopardise the charitable work we do.
