The 'Golden Seaweed Sprig' is a one of a kind hand-painted plate celebrating the ornate forms of seaweed, the leaves and trees of the underwater world. Sasha likes to imagine a forrest of seaweed surrounding the ancient greek underwwater city of Atlantic. Seaweek motifs are often seen in classical art, being a subject of great interest to Sasha.
With memories in mind of visiting beaches on the Inner Hebrides Islands, this plate is decorative and playful. This plate has been designed, painted, and fired by Sasha in her London studio and is made to be a statement showpiece for your home, hung on a wall or displayed on a stand. Sasha has signed and dated the artwork on the reverse.
Created with 10% 24 carat gold glaze, this plate is not food safe or dishwasher friendly.

Sasha transports viewers into a timeless world of Art by creating modern reinterpretations of classical concepts. Using expressive and experimental techniques, she works with the colour theory to create dreamlike artworks with the aim of bringing happiness into people's lives. With a colourful lens on life, her perfectly imperfect artworks and hand-painted ceramics are sure to add a splash of joy to any home.
