Pacific Breeze II
07 AUGUST 2021 - 26 SEPTEMBER 2021Notes
One of the most famous Japanese folk stories is about a poor man. He went to the temple to pray for riches and as he left he grabbed a solitary stem of straw. On his way home he met another man who bartered an egg for that single stem of straw, then he met someone who offered him a pair of fresh fish for the egg, the fish he bartered for…. and so on until the man became very rich. Rice brings wealth to the people of Akita.
Rice also makes Sake. I find this perfect system enriches basic life, never ending or changing. My fan includes grape stems to reflect the combination of a wealthy life with wine and herbs. Hopefully this composition will send a rich and happy breeze to you.
