David Risley studied at Bath Academy of Art, graduating in 1993. He is former director of the eponymous David Risley Gallery, and co-founder of the legendary Zoo Art Fair. In 2009 Risley moved from London to Copenhagen and he is now a full-time practicing artist. 

This work was produced for PROJECT PAPYROPHILIA. PROJECT PAPYROPHILIA is an ongoing work on paper initiative curated by international gallerist, curator and artist Zavier Ellis (director of CHARLIE SMITH LONDON). The project was launched in response to the first lockdown in order to support artists during challenging times. All work is unique.
