This painting is part of series of Els Keezer, a dancer who featured on the BBC documentary ‘My Family, the Holocaust and Me’. The series is based off of recollections of her by those who knew her and drawn from life from a puppet model made for the works.

Liorah Tchiprout b.1992 is an artist based in London. Her work explores belonging, girlhood and the theatrical.  She was selected for Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2021. In 2020 she won the Print Futures Award and the John Purcell Award. .She studied Fine Art Print at the University of Brighton, Bezalel School of Art and Design in Jerusalem, and Camberwell College of Art. Her work is held in collections including Soho House permanent collection, Clifford Chance and the Ruth Borchard Next Generation Collection.
