A Studio Sale of 9 works of art direct from the studio of artist Paul Anderson Morrow

Paul works on either wood or paper, the material qualities of these are inherent to Paul’s practice and these are fully acknowledged and honoured through the working process. His work is concerned with the physical act of painting, anchored in the moment and the immediacy of the gesture. The marks are applied and then considered, an intervention is then made to keep or remove the marks, shapes and compositions are explored in a manner that can be described as automatic, drawing on previous work resulting in a creative enquiry that often spans several pieces of work. The compositions unfold over time through this process of application and excavation, in a manner that could be described as an intuitive; a dialectical conversation mediated by paint.

Paul is also writes about art, culture and inclusion and has recently written a book on the subject to be published by Routledge in the autumn and is also co-author of the Cultural Inclusion Manifesto.
