Aleph Contemporary for AccessArt
19 NOVEMBER 2021 - 17 DECEMBER 2021Notes
Sheila grows and puts together a vegetable box for us each week. It always comes with the greens’ stalks wrapped in tin foil to keep them fresh, and she always finishes it off with nasturtium flowers on top. I think that the more connected the chain is from land to growers, to sellers, to buyers, the more care, joy and gratefulness is felt. These are her beetroot.
Ruth is interested in the relationship between humans and the material world: how we shape matter, write meaning into it, and are shaped by it.
