Aleph Contemporary for AccessArt
19 NOVEMBER 2021 - 17 DECEMBER 2021Notes
My work explores psychological states that result from structural societal practices and norms, particularly forms of oppression. My paintings often allude to a sense of discomfort or unease but are intentionally indistinct and ambiguous so that there is enough room for the viewer to bring their own interpretation to the work. I work quickly in a loose expressive style using various media. These pieces are made in oil paint on paper.
