Aleph Contemporary for AccessArt (8/73)

Notes

Its part of an ongoing series of A4 oil paintings on paper. They are based on collages made from my own photographs taken mainly in the UK and in Mallorca.

My work explores resorts, as environments of heightened human activity. I am interested in the architecture, people and colour palette of these places. I try to capture a tension between escapism and dystopia.

BA(Hons) in Fine Art at Brighton University(1991) and MA in Painting from the RCA(1993). John Moores Painting Prize Exhibition 1993, 2002, 2008, 2018
