About 

Originally an actor and screenwriter, I turned to collaging in a quest to celebrate the bizarre. Frustrated with acting, after all you can’t act on your own in lockdown, I needed a creative outlet and so Polly' s Picture Soup began. My process is a charmingly simple one. I sit down with a cup of tea and see what comes.

I studied French and Italian at Bristol University and went on to train at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama

Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork   

I enjoyed the challenge of working to size for this project, as it's something I've never done before. All of my pieces are hand cut and so each piece is a combination of imagination and luck. Each piece has it’s own narrative and is an escape into an imaginary world. I'm inspired by nature, colour, humour and life’s little quirks. 

Please do not bid on artwork in our Art on a Postcard auctions if you intend on selling the artwork after you have purchased it. This auction has been organised for charity and all artworks have been generously donated by the artists to raise money for the Hepatitis C Trust. When the work produced for the charity is sold on the secondary market it damages our relationship with the artist and prevents us from fundraising.
