Soulla Petrou is an award-winning photographer based in London who has spent 30 years photographing some of the most ground-breaking musicians and Dj's of the 90's & 00's.
Her work has been published extensively in magazines and newspapers. Soulla was a regular contributor to magazines such as The Face, Mixmag and DJ as well as shooting for dance label Defected. Her work includes images of Geri Halliwell back in 1994, pre-Spice Girls showing early signs of an emerging Ginger Spice; Britpop heroes Blur during their concert in Sweden 1997 for the launch cover of The Saturday Times new music supplement and Frankie Knuckles "The Godfather of House" in 2009 for the 25th Anniversary of music label DefMix. The list includes, Underworld, Orbital, Supergrass, Goldie, Kula Shaker, The Chemical Brothers and many more.
Soulla's music portraits won her 3rd place at The International Photography Awards in 2008. She is also featured in "The World's Top Photographer's- Celebrity & Performance" a book published in 2009.
