Cécile Davidovici discovered embroidery 3 years ago. Since then she has made this medium her own, continuing to master and own it, playing with over 500 colours of thread. At the forefront of Cecile's technique is the use of these threads in the manner a painter would paint with a paintbrush and oils; successfully carving out her very own niche within the complex world of contemporary Art. For her latest series of Portraits, Cecile has developed a painstakingly unique technique that has allowed her to create a new form of texture and transparency.
