Art Auction - Arms Around the Child, Timed

James is a self-taught artist and has learnt to paint in most mediums, including oils, acrylic, watercolour, charcoal and pastels over the past 16 years. Currently, he works mainly with acrylics, largely due to the medium’s immediacy which allows him to work expeditiously and employ various techniques for certain effects. He has a great interest in art history, art movements and techniques. 

James’ works have been finalists in numerous national art awards across Australia, including several prestigious landscape prizes. His artworks are held in private collections in Australia, London and Italy. James is represented by a number of art galleries in Australia, particularly in New South Wales and Victoria.
