Art For Relief
05 MARCH 2021 - 26 MARCH 2021Notes
The pink and blue tones are hidden behind the broad white brushstrokes and invite the viewer to take a closer look. There is a lot to discover. Bright, friendly colours, mostly speckled, and an extraordinary composition, make the painting something special.
“After the birth of my second child I started painting - and have not stopped until today. For me, painting means ‘to see something new emerging’, the further development and examination of myself and life, processing emotions, inspiration and relaxation.
In the foreground is the synergy of colors and forms or the striving for color harmony and depth. The motifs themselves emerge during the development process from a vague idea or current mood. Passion and attention to detail is always an important aspect. During my work I use different materials and instead of a brush I often use my hands.
I paint not because I have to, but because I want to. I paint what comes out of me and I want to share this with other people. Painting is an essential part of me, without it my life - in the truest sense of the word - would be colorless.
Painting completes me. Art is inspiring, stands for quality of life, sets unique accents, creates atmosphere and, above all, makes you feel alive." - S. Kirsch, 2021
