Art for Ukraine
01 APRIL 2022 - 25 APRIL 2022Notes
‘CRISTHIAN & WAYNE was made in my New York studio, it is based on a photograph of my friends who were deeply in love at the time and they posed for me. On the day of the photoshoot, we spent a lovely and seemingly endless time picnicking in a botanical park, making art and cooking dinner together.’ – Nadine Faraj
Nadine Faraj paints sexualized figures in varying degrees of abstraction. Her fluid style allows her figures to emerge as deeply psychological and emotional beings, with a full sense of their humanity.
