Art for Ukraine

‘This painting is part of a series titled ‘Inside’ in which I look at the body and its relation to human existence. Through this thought process I reveal corporeality in an abstracted manner and the body’s being as a sensually experienced ephemeral mass. I hope to reflect the divergent nature of bodily sensations and the paradox between pleasure and pain.’ – Julia Kowalska
