Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
Gas Station Chronicles (part i,ii and iii) is an oil on canvas series that depicts three aspects the female condition in three different states - the surreal, the spiritual and the performative. I wanted to create a pseudo 'Holy Trinity' of what feminity felt like to me, visually.
