Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
This work is part of my ongoing series of portrait-like characters settled inbetween abstraction and figuration, which I started in 2018. The portraits look like piled blocks in their own way: a sensitive order that can collapse at any time. The reduced forms of the works symbolize the bridge between art-historical references and the building blocks of the digitized world (pixels).
