Emma White is an oil painter based in Toronto. She graduated from Queen's University with a BFA (Honours), and received the Fine Art Medal in her graduating class. She creates paintings that show evidence of human interaction with the natural world, by interrupting landscapes with markings representative of humankind. She has recently exhibited with False Cast Gallery in San Diego, Carrie Secrist Gallery in Chicago, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto. Her work can be viewed at www.emmawhite.net.
