Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork

I often make works on paper to reconsider motifs that have featured in larger painted and printed works, or which may appear in future works. I like the immediacy and fluidity that working on paper can offer - and the unexpected results that can occur when using a set of simple materials. These two images relate to large scale painted / printed works that explore ideas of intentionality and the construction of images in front of a camera.

PLEASE DO NOT BID ON ARTWORK IN OUR ART ON A POSTCARD AUCTIONS IF YOU INTEND ON SELLING THE ARTWORK AFTER YOU HAVE PURCHASED IT. THIS AUCTION HAS BEEN ORGANISED FOR CHARITY AND ALL ARTWORKS HAVE BEEN GENEROUSLY DONATED BY THE ARTISTS TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE HEPATITIS C TRUST. WHEN THE WORK PRODUCED FOR THE CHARITY IS SOLD ON THE SECONDARY MARKET IT DAMAGES OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ARTIST AND PREVENTS US FROM FUNDRAISING.
