Melissa Kitty Jarram is an artist and illustrator who has worked across mediums such as fashion, music and film, both digitally and with paint. Most of her work is centred around ethics and how we can use the industry to create social change or support causes we believe in, this includes a huge focus on women and how women have been perceived in the world. Breaking the male gaze is important to her. She has worked with clients such as Bethany Williams London, Adidas, Nike, Bandai Entertainments, and WePresent.

Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork   

Melissa has submitted two pieces on the theme of nature. "A Solid Future" is a nod at the grim future of the planet due to climate change and pollution. Humans may disappear, but the natural world will remain in some form, and eventually flourish once again. "When I See You" is a lighter piece, expressing the joy that flowers bring to the artist herself.

WHEN THE WORK PRODUCED FOR THE CHARITY IS SOLD ON THE SECONDARY MARKET IT DAMAGES OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ARTIST AND PREVENTS US FROM FUNDRAISING.
