About

Laima Laurina is a ceramic artist and sculptor born and raised in Latvia. Her artistic journey began with an unrelenting inner-call and intuition that formed a deep connection with the natural world and a love for hands-on work. Laurina’s art is a beautiful manifestation of her playful curiosity while also employing irony and parody to her work as a revolt against the dominant approaches to art, culture and traditional views. Her pieces are all handmade, using her own unique techniques that are both intricate, and precise. Each piece is a unique expression of her skill, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the craft.

Education

Bachelor's degree in ceramic arts from Arts Academy of Latvia
