Art on a Postcard x War Child UK 2024 Part I
23 APRIL 2024 - 07 MAY 2024Notes
About
Born in Radomsko, Poland. Living and working in Virginia, USA. I’m a European-trained contemporary artist, living in the USA for 7 years. Since August 2023 in Virginia. My professional journey began in 2007 after finishing my visual studies in Poland and Germany (Bachelor of Arts in Hamburg). I’ve since then worked on exploring my style. I believe a personal style develops through intensive, daily working. I’m fascinated by the human face and her expressions. In my paintings in a gestural, intuitive way I’m catching the emotions. I use acrylic paint, large brushes, and different tools to underline the dramaturge of the movement. Looking for complete expression and working on a painting as long as is needed to meet my intentions. I love to play with color and form. I’m painting mostly portraits, but also figures and still lifes. Large to small format, on canvas and paper. I pursue my artistic way with passion and commitment
