Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
As the global situation becomes more turbulent, wracked with war and aggression, my investigations lean towards reimagined “longed for” places. The four paintings here are wild scenes, tempered by a sense of the subjects being deserted in their environment. The landscapes are familiar but surreal and alien. Forces are omnipresent; wind, moons, trees, all feature to convey interconnectivity. Using archetypes and symbolism, ecopolitics, femininity and the natural world are recurring themes. Equally, non representational colour, spattering, and various other techniques give the creations a sense of autonomy.

You must not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any works. In doing so, you endanger ourrelationships with artists, and directly jeopardise the charitable work we do.
