About
Kate Lyddon's pencil drawings, detailed etchings, human size sculptures and expansive canvases propose figure and object combinations that are simultaneously familiar and uncanny. Her subjects are displaced, disrupted and disfigured through redrawing or rearrangement. They avoid definition and instead suggest a slippage between disparate eras, locations and narratives.
