Il China-Italy Philanthropy Forum è una piattaforma di dialogo cross-culturale dedicata alla promozione di dialogo e collaborazione trarealtà fi lantropiche europee e cinesi, con l’obiettivo di agevolare sforzi comuni nei campi della tutela dell’ecosistema, della sostenibilità, dell’istruzione, della valorizzazione del ruolo sociale delle donne, e della costruzione di percorsi di fi lantropia inter-generazione.

Un progetto orientato alla co-creazione di programmi di formazione in Italia e in Europa rivolti alle nuove generazioni di filantropi e manager di organizzazioni filantropiche cinesi.

Il “China-Italy Philanthropy Forum” (CIPF) trae la sua origine da un seminario sul tema della collaborazione italo-cinese in campo fi lantropico promosso dal TOChina Hub dell’Università di Torino a Pechino nel maggio 2018. Nel marzo 2019, con la fi rma a Villa Madama del “Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of the China-Italy Philanthropy Forum”, il CIPF è stato formalmente costiuito. Questa esperienza rappresenta il livello di collaborazione più avanzato mai sperimentato dai due paesi nel campo della fi lantropia e gode dell’apprezzamento del Presidente della Repubblica Sergio Mattarella. Il China-Italy Philanthropy Forum è una piattaforma non-governativa impegnata nell’agevolare occasioni di dialogo costruttivo e collaborazione sostenibile tra soggetti leader nel campo fi lantropico nei due paesi, al fi ne di promuovere lo sviluppo umano in Italia, in Cina e altrove nel mondo. I partecipanti al Forum sono in particolare fondazioni familiari e altri soggetti che perseguono i più alti standard di responsabilità sociale. I partner che animano il secondo triennio di lavoro del Forum (2022-2025) sono la China Development Research Foundation, la National School of Development della Peking University e il TOChina Hub presso l’Università di Torino. In questo triennio il Forum intende anche ampliare la platea dei partecipanti accogliendo alcune selezionate famiglie fi lantropiche europee. Il più recente progetto promosso dal Forum è stata una donazione all’Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù di Roma, annunciata durante un High-Level Workshop del CIPF svoltosi presso l’Accademia Pontificia delle Scienze Sociali nel maggio 2023. Il prossimo progetto sarà la costituzione di un China-Europe Philanthropy Innovation Research Centre presso la Peking University, la cui prima attività sarà il varo di un innovativo programma di formazione in Italia e in Europa rivolto alle nuove generazioni di fi lantropi e manager di organizzazioni fi lantropiche cinesi.

L’opinione di Galloni. Uno dei vini più particolari di questa selezione 2022. Qui c’è una nota fl oreale decisamente esotica, con un mix speziato. Molta cannella, scorza d’arancia, pepe bianco. Davvero accattivante dal punto di vista aromatico, con tonalità di frutta più tendenti al rosso e una struttura intermedia. Questo vino presenta così tante sfumature da farmi pensare che potrà essere gustato anche presto, benché, come ogni Barolo, necessiti ovviamente di tempo per assestarsi. Ma ha qualcosa di decisamente esotico, che trovo davvero interessante.

The China-Italy Philanthropy Forum is a platform for cross-cultural dialogue committed to the promotion of dialogue and collaboration between European and Chinese philanthropic institutions, with the aim of facilitating joint efforts in the fields of ecosystem protection,sustainability, education, valorisation of the social role of women, and the construction of inter-generation philanthropy processes.

A project focusing on the co-creation of training programmes in Italy and Europe aimed at new generations of Chinese philanthropists and directors of philanthropic organisations.

The “China-Italy Philanthropy Forum” (CIPF) had its origin in a seminar on the subject of Italo-Chinese philanthropic collaboration promoted by the TOChina Hub of the University of Turin in Beijing in May 2018. In March 2019, upon the signing in Villa Madama of the “Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of the China-Italy Philanthropy Forum”, the CIPF was formally constituted. This experience represents the highest level of collaboration ever experienced by the two countries in the fi eld of philanthropy and is greatly appreciated by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella. The China-Italy Philanthropy Forum is a non-governmental platform committed to facilitating opportunities for constructive dialogue and sustainable collaboration between leading philanthropic players in the two countries, to foster human development in Italy, China and elsewhere in the world. Members of the Forum are primarily family foundations and other institutions that pursue the highest standards of social responsibility. The partners involved in the Forum’s second triennial (2022-2025) are the China Development Research Foundation, the National School of Development at Peking University and the TOChina Hub at the University of Turin. In this three-year period, the Forum also intends to broaden its membership by bringing in selected European philanthropic families. The most recent project promoted by the Forum was a donation to the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital in Rome, announced during a CIPF High-Level Workshop held at the Pontifi cal Academy of Social Sciences in May 2023. The next project will be the foundation of a China-Europe Philanthropy Innovation Research Centre at Peking University, whose first activity will be the launch of an innovative training programme in Italy and Europe addressed to the next generation of Chinese philanthropists and directors of philanthropic organisations.

Galloni’s opinion. This is one of the most distinctive wines in this range of 2022. Here there’s a real exotic fl oral and spice quality, a sort of fi ve spice. Lots of cinnamon, orange peel, white pepper. Really aromatically beguiling, redder kind of tonalities of fruit, midway structure. There’s a lot of things in this wine and they make me think it will drink well early, even though as all Barolos it takes time to come together, obviously, but there’s just something very exotic about this one, that I find really, really interesting.
