IT: Situato nella parte est della zona di origine del Barolo, il comune di Serralunga d’Alba è da sempre considerato uno dei pilastri della denominazione per l’ottima qualità di molti suoi vigneti che producono uno stile inimitabile di Barolo, a volte solido e austero e a volte sorprendentemente raffi nato ed espressivo. Ciò che rende ancora più aff ascinante questo comune è il gran numero di MGA e il lavoro meticoloso che ha portato alla loro delimitazione, teso a non svuotare di signifi cato nomi preziosi e universalmente noti come ad esempio Lazzarito, Francia, Arione e Ornato.
EN: Located in the eastern part of the Barolo area of origin, the Municipality of Serralunga d’Alba has always been considered one of the pillars of the denomination for the excellent quality of many of its vineyards that produce an inimitable style of Barolo, sometimes solid and austere and sometimes surprisingly refined and expressive. What makes this municipality even more fascinating is the large number of MGAs and the meticulous work that led to their delimitation, aimed at not emptying of meaning precious and universally known names such as Lazzarito, Francia, Arione and Ornato.
Terms and Conditions governing the sale (Barolo en primeur 2024)
- Wines will be delivered in Springtime 2027.
- All bottles will be labelled with a specific artist-designed label.
- The entire proceeds from the Auction of the lots associated with barriques will go towards beneficial projects, partly identified and partly to be identified by the successful tenderers of the lots; the entire proceeds from the Auction of the lots associated with the municipal lots will go to support the projects carried out by the School of Enology of Alba – Italy – and other local organizations.
- The shipping cost of the wine from Cantine Ascheri, Bra (Italy), for the lots associated with the barriques and of the bottles of the producers located in the Langhe (Italy) is borne by the buyer.
