Pair of highly collectible vintage Carimate Armchairs from the 60’s/70’s. Recently refinished in Farrow & Ball Pitch Black. Please note the new seat pads are made from papercord and not the original rush.

The Carimate armchair was designed by Vico Magistretti in1959 for the Carimate golf club in Lombardy, Italy. This pair were manufactured in Italy by Cassina and sold through Habitat in the UK. The design has recently been reissued.
