Father's Day Redesign: Auction in aid of Campaign Against Living Miserably

"My card design is inspired by the answer my dad gave to the following question, “What would you like to see on a Father's Day card’? His response; ‘I don’t really look at the pictures but maybe a dad joke’.

I have found, as I am sure many sons of men of that generation have found, it is difficult to express our feelings, emotions or love to their fathers at the best of times, let alone on Father’s Day! 

The reason I chose this original card is that some of the best connections I’ve had with my dad are over sharing a pint, and, although I know he probably wouldn’t even look at the pictures I’ve drawn if I gave him this card, I hope he knows I love him for who he is and the times we have spent putting the world to rights over a pint or two."
