Fundraising Auction Art Academy London - Timed

The view was painted from life in spring 2022 during the London Art Academy plein air class with the artist’s students. The famous scene was painted just before an approaching storm and captures the atmospheric light. 
Julia Hawkins was elected a Member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in 2020 and the New English Art Club in 2022, she is a regular exhibitor at Mall Galleries in London. Her work was also selected for the prestigious Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize and Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize exhibitions.
