Fundraising Auction Art Academy London - Timed

We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive fundraising auction, in partnership with Christie’s, to raise money for Art Academy London.  

Art Academy London is a charity founded by artists in 2000 on the principle that art and art education has the power to be transformative: for individuals, communities and society. We are a young and innovative art school based in Southwark, London. 

We passionately believe that everyone should have access to high-quality art education, with no financial, physical or practical barriers. We offer something distinct and increasingly rare: the best of an old-school atelier combined with the vibrancy and diversity of a contemporary art school. Our ethos is to enable inclusivity in arts education, currently reaching 4000 students a year. We receive no support from the government.

At Christie's London, we will be hosting our fundraising auction on 16th May 2023, chaired by Dirk Boll, Deputy Chairman of 20th and 21st Century Art, Christie's and presented by Natasha Kaplinsky OBE. Funds raised in the auction will allow us to continue to support 30% of our academic students with bursaries, provide free spaces on our young artists’ programmes and drive our outreach workshops that help make art accessible to the community in Southwark.
