Notes
Anemone is part of a series of flowers made during Lockdown in London, 2020/21. It was captured using Baud’s unique process, making exposures directly onto photographic paper with a large format, 10 x 8 inch camera and custom made set of filters. The unusual red marks around the flower are a result of an accidental light leak. The image illustrates how Baud’s technical, analogue process can create unexpected results out of his control. Allowing for, and indeed embracing these ‘happy accidents’ is central to Baud’s practice.
