Hera - Live Auction

The Artists Contemporary and The Auction Collective are proud to present Hera, an online auction of 9 womxn artists in support of Action Aid.  Action Aid is an international charity that strives to make the world more sustainable and equal. Their main focus is creating equal opportunities for women from disadvantaged backgrounds. From supporting adolescent girls through education, period poverty, FGM and the  prevention of child marriages allowing more women around the world to complete their education and female economic empowerment.

Each artist is auctioning three works, two will be in the timed auction that will run from the 20th September  to the 7th October. On the evening of the 6th October  each artist will have one work auctioned in a live auction hosted by The Auction Collective.

The auction includes the work of Salome Wu, Kim Booker, Anna Woodward, Oriele Stiener, Miranda Forrester, Polina Pak, Rose Shuckburgh, Hannah Tilson and Tayo Adekunele. 

The Artists Contemporary is an art platform founded by Anna Woodward in 2020 that strives to promote and support the creative practices of contemporary artists. The Artists Contemporary works across a range of different channels through Instagram, The Artists Contemporary Podcast, their website and The Atelier, it’s online gallery.
