London based Camberwell graduate, Elliot Fox combines a sense of analogue and digital in his paintings which reflect on everyday life.
"Eggs and Roses was created during my time in Yangon, Myanmar. The streets around my studio were frequented by street food vendors, stray dogs and flower stands and I think this painting attempts to capture a certain place at a certain time whilst taking melancholic view of home."
Elliot's work explores themes of language, meaning and the mechanics of vision. The allure of paint on canvas contrasts with the stilted pixelated lines and shapes that make up Elliot's signature style as an artist in the post-internet era.
