Inception – Charity Auction for Make 2nds Count (9/28)

Notes

Kartoffelkulturen is from a body of work which began its creative journey in 2020. Old maps depicting German vegetable crops found in a zero-waste shop were the initial inspiration used. The paintings evolved into fluid and painterly abstract works with a powerful drawing element.

I am an artist who strives to create original and exciting two and three-dimensional works of art by working with different media and materials. I work with paint, collage, photography, embroidery, and installation. The choice of media will often depend on the materials I have chosen to experiment with, the space in which I envisage the work or even the audience I am trying to have a conversation with artistically.

45th International art exhibition Gibraltar,November 2018, Ist prize winner of the Gustavo Bacarisas prize. Work is now part of the Gibraltar art collection.
