The Designers Republic requested this work for Jazz musician Matthew Halsall’s anniversary album covers Sending My Love and Colour.

Jon Llewelyn made this experimental piece based on his love of the Bauhaus and mid-century art and design. It was intended to explore the relationship between simple shapes and textures. Working in his studio in South Wales, Jon brings these moments together into a contemporary aesthetic that is informed by his 22 years of graphic design experience.

He has completed private and commercial commission including two interior art installations and has had work featured at Herman Miller’s flagship store.
