Life on Venus III | The Organic, Timed Auction

“I developed my drawing practice at Camberwell College of Arts, and graduated from the Painting course this Summer. My work explores themes of nature and intimacy, and responds to the idea of transformation. Themes of containment and the concept of the vessel is fundamental to my practice. I use natural forms and motifs as a metaphor for my thoughts and experiences, and combine it with fragmented parts of the human form. I work with drawing materials on a large-scale, laying paper on the floor, using watercolour, charcoal and pastel”. - Alice Brazzill, 2021.
