Monica is originally from California, but lives and works in UK. Her experiences of continually starting over have led her to reflect on the cycles of change and renewal in nature. Through a material-led process, Monica embraces accidental and incidental moments in which she seeks the catalyst or disruption and embraces the transformative nature of the elements as potential collaborators. Monicahas a BFA from the California College of the Arts and an MFA from Slade School of Art.
