Emma Eichorn is an artist currently based in Providence, USA, undertaking a BFA in painting at Rhode Island School of Design. Her work deals with an amplification of silence and incident. And with the spaces between people. Those moments that often get dismissed but are filled with emotional tension, awkwardness and affection. The figures within her work, if figures they are, are silent and secretive. They invite scrutiny through the familiarity of their gestures yet the emotions they elicit are shrouded, the full contents is unavailable to us.
