Life on Venus | The Landscape, Timed Auction

My subject is broadly landscape. Through my experience of wild places, gardens and edgelands I use drawing to evoke a feeling about a place. I'm interested in capturing a sense of the vitality of nature and a certain exhilaration of seeing and feeling through my handling of materials, working intuitively, exploring where painting and drawing meet. I hunt for  subjects that somehow suggest a microcosm of our experience and hint at the mysterious.
