Alice Sheridan’s dynamic paintings are rich with texture. Her layered mixed media technique combines an urban street-art approach with more traditional landscape painting, resulting in a series of abstract images that carry a strong graphic edge with a richness and depth of colour.

This technique, seen in the dramatic and energetic forms in Water’s Edge, is the product of 10 years developing and experimenting with new printmaking and painting techniques.

The artist’s work has been selected by The Mall Galleries, The Royal Society of Painter Printmakers and, in 2017, was shortlisted by The Royal Academy.
