Lily’s work has been exhibited both in the UK and internationally and been placed in collections all around the world. Most recently she had debut solo shows in both US and China at ‘Long Story Short’ (LA), ‘Marinaro Gallery’ (NY) and ‘Blank Gallery’ (Shanghai.) Before this Macrae had her inaugural solo show in London at 14 Cavendish Square curated by Purslane and she continues to exhibit with Soho Revue Gallery (London.) Macrae is the recipient of the Royal Scottish Academy Pandemic Award (2020), The Air ‘Arts Chiyoda Residency’ (Tokyo) (2019), The British Sasakawa FoundationGrant and the Hope Scott Trust Grant. Lily lives and works in Glasgow.
