The UK is being stripped of its pubs. To help them revive, we stripped something else: their signs. Inspired by the recent launch of Stella Artois Unfiltered, this eleven-piece collection celebrates the beauty of living life 'au naturel' - just like the naturally unfiltered beer itself.
We have reimagined icons of the UK culture, the pub signs, as nude artworks.
We invited modern painting masters such as Reuben Dangoor, Becki Gill and Bernadette Timko. They portrayed Kings, Queens, Lords totally au naturel. Revealing a royal modesty here. An imperial side-boob there. No aristocratic private part was kept under wraps.
This auction of original artwork will offer support to our pubs, with profits going to help via Hospitality Action.
