Claire’s work is associated with with nature and colour; she paints with expressive paint marks and stylised detail. Her paintings are a diary of nature’s dynamism, her imprint on the landscape and its impression via recording emotive responses through exploration of recessive colours. 

As a member of The Arborealists, trees are an important part of her subject matter, alongside more dramatic representations of nature’s force. She recently exhibited at Royal Academy Summer Exhibition with two paintings and in February has a solo show of drawings at Chappel Galleries, Essex. Claire lives and works in Norfolk.
