Studio Sale | Andrew Hardy (4/27)

Notes

One of a series of works on paper made in 2020 inspired by a trip to the Barbara Hepworth museum in St Ives.

Andrew says of his work, "I try to make paintings that draw viewers in, to question and enjoy their materiality. I don’t feel a need to paint scenes, situations or likenesses of people. The works don't usually have any meaning although I do aim for them to be meaningful… which is a different thing.”
