Inspired by the open waters and big skies of London’s Royal Docks
Imagining the unseen flows of particulate matter surrounding us,
Observing the natural and constructed environments we inhabit,
Picturing layered complex, dynamic and chaotic systems interacting,
Contemplating our place within them.

Jamie Temple’s practice is rooted in printmaking and wood carving, from which he creates structural and abstracted works on paper, sculpture and installation, often interlaced with elements of poetry, sound and animation. His work draws from a fascination with the built and natural environments we inhabit, move in and transform.
